So the wait is over and TRF have released some cad pics of the 418.

Some nice refinements as expected including the Yokomo style motor mount, 20t centre pulley and most excitingly new suspension arms and geometry.

New Suspension set-up, new lighter spool with drive shaft protectors 
New upper bulkheads
New motor mount for more controlled flex

Carbon parts:
  • lower deck

NEW Plastic parts:
  • uprights
  • front and rear suspension arms
  • spur gear
NEW Aluminium parts:
  • front and rear lower and upper bulkhead
  • motor mount
  • steering wiper
  • Direct shaft Cup (lighter and also allows you to but drive shaft protectors on it)
  • integrated servo mount

  • Separate Suspension Mount
  • 20T center pulley
  • Stabilizer and stabilizer end

  1. I think it is a long while that touring cars are the same shape, the same solutions... Which is the sense of new releases? I would suggest rethinking tracks, with narrower parts, in which drivers are compelled to brake, for instance. And... Tell me: what about?
