Step Four, Hubs

This is where the car start to take shape and look like a car.

First step of step five (confusing?) is drive shafts. fiddly and messy, i like building drive shafts.

As with everything on this build, everything goes together very nicely. shafts, axle, coupling, pins and a spot of graphite grease.

Rear hubs first, know i have been told to make sure the spring steel shaft go in the front and aluminum ones in the rear. aluminum in the front equals bent shaft first sign of a crash.

Hubs went together fine and i'm loving the bolts wheel hexes they are great!

Front ones went together well, I went slow to make I got them the correct way round. Wouldn't be the first time I've had to strip something back down because i'd built it wrong.

Mount them in the car which means turnbuckles! errrrrrr!

Last to do is anti roll bars. never had a car with roll bars. turned together the ball joints, these are better than turnbuckles. snapped in the balls and fitted the bar hardware. Simples! Lined up the bar and adjusted the play with the set screws, jobs a good un'.

Now on to the final part here :)
