Its often the quiet sound of people wrenching in the pits gets disturbed by the occasional curse as people hunt down shims that seem to not go where they need to before that critical race.
Tamiya's separate suspension mounts have been a great tuning aid for all TRF racers, allowing different flex characteristics for the chassis. However sometimes fitting shims trying to adjust your anti-squat etc could be a dreaded move as you juggled the car, the shims and the countdown to the next race (Especially at a local club where you dont get long between rounds)

Luckily Tamiya have released these spacers, making changing the settings a breeze.

There are two sizes available 54480 are 1mm and 54479 are 0.5mm

little shims are a headache when changing set-up in a hurry

When you look at the part, you can see straight away how this will save you time, each packet has 4 spacers, so this will be able to do both your front and rear mounts.

Fitting them is easy, now you just need to loosen the suspension mount so you are able to slide the spacer underneath. Before you had to remove the mount and balance the loose arm, shims on the suspension shaft and the setting..
Once its loose you just slide the shim underneath and rotate the car so it slides down onto the screws.

Then you just have to gently turn the screws to tighten it back down on the spacer. You should alternate the screws, otherwise you will probably twist the spacer around and the mount wont be seated properly.

Overall

Its not a revolution, but it makes tweaking the car a lot easier at my club, so for that reason alone I would recommend you get some of these for your pitbox.
