So I set myself a challenge. How much 'proper' RC car action can I get for £25.
I was intrigued to see with a bit of careful shopping and a bit of improvisation if I could cobble a hobby grade RC for the price of a Supermarket RC car.
The rules
£25 to spend
Cannot use rc spares that I already have
Can use bits and bobs non-rc related that are hanging around FOC
So here goes
I picked this chassis (ta01) of eBay for the princely sum of £3.45

It's been well loved, but the picture showed it looking relatively complete. I picked up the car from the seller and sprayed the car with de-greaser (it was caked in black Tamiya grease and have left it to soak before I strip it down.....
Running total - £3.45
To be continued....
