Or rather lack off!
So here is a quick picture by picture installation guide.
First remove the old plastic parts
Then fit in the shaft bearings at the bottom
Then at the top
Then build the steering cross brace. Take note I added a drop of threadlock on the screws.
Then pop in the top shaft.
Fit the large brass flange washers to the top and bottom of the left steering arm before you attach it to the chassis with the longest screw.
The pop a bit a threadlock on the shorter one and attach it to the shaft.
All done

Is it the GPM one? How does it works? I'm planning some upgrades for my CC and I was considering to improve the steering.
ReplyDeleteIt took out lots of the steering slop. My chassis was quite old though. The good thing is that as this kit uses bearings it won't wear down like the std kit(plastic rubbing against plastic)
ReplyDeleteOh and yes it is the gpm kit. I bought it from fusion hobbies.
Thank you very much ;)
