So the most successful 1/10 onroad racer is now a free agent? So where next for Marc Rheinard?

Let's see what rumours are doing the rounds.

Yokomo.
Marc races Yokomo cars for 1/12 and 1/10 off road. So it makes sense that he could just join the onroad 1/10 team. Definitely the thought of him racing alongside fellow country man Ronald Volker would be an exciting prospect as they battle against each other with equal machinery.

Xray
The most popular club based brand and one that has still not won a world championship. Marc has the experience of the world winning Tamiya TRF team and his know how could help strengthen their already technically strong racing team. Although it seems they are happy with their current line up and might not have the capacity to fit him into the team.

Awesomatix
Despite Marcs departure from TRF being the big news from the first round of the ETS, One of the other interesting tidbits was that Viljami Kutvonen scored an impressive second position on the podium. The A800 ditched the shaft drive of the earlier cars and it gained a lot more speed, especially in Mod classes. The team is cool, and a high profile driver like Marc could help it sell more cars, but they may not have deep enough pockets to support Marc.

VBC
A strong team, definitely in it's ascendancy. ToniSport is also the official distrubutor of the cars in Europe but do they have the budget and the development team to bring Marc to join the team?

Destiny
A new team on the block, they have impressed with their new car, but they are probably too small at this stage to attract Marc.

Serpent
An underrated team with a fantastic pedigree and track record of creating some very good cars. Their latest creation, the 4X is a phenominal car, and there are also some former Team mates racing at the team including Viktor Wilck. It is unlikely, but it's nice to have a curve ball.

Infinity
It might seem strange to mention Infinity, however Marc races for them in 1/8 nitro and they are also developing a 1/10 onroad car. They do have the cash and Marc already has some good friends there including Jilles Groskamp. From Infinity's point of view they would have two drivers who work well together, and have a total of 4 world championships between them, that is a formidable prospect.

It would also be a good challenge for Marc to be part of a team who develop a new car and to take on the established manufacturers. So we might see Marc race for the silver arrows.... albeit not the seat of the one that his compatriot recently left at Mercedes..

All the above are just rumours and speculation, the one thing we do know is that Marc will be back and we look forward to him battling to take a 4th world championship.
