58646 Tamiya Konghead 6X6 G6-01 Truck announced

People always moan about RC being a bit similar, so as usual it's down to Tamiya to release something a little out of the ordinary. So what about a 6WD, 4WD Stunt Truck!

The G6-01 chassis is derived from the excellent GF-01 (Check our review of the GF-01 Dump truck here) and is a 6WD variant. The motor is mounted at the front and the centre and rear wheels also have differentials. 

The chassis also supports 4WS (Four wheel steering), if you have the correct radio gear.

The lexan body is inspired by the mighty Tamiya Bullhead.  The release date is around Mid June.. It looks like Tamiya might have a hit on their hands as this is already creating a buzz. Hopefully we will be able to get our hands on one and give it a spin.
