Lots of Tamiya based racing coming up, one of the projects I am working on is a selection of parts for the TRF415 for some retro racing fun in the Iconic cup.

Original chassis are now very hard to find, so I thought I would make a new lower deck. This will also allow racers to run some of the new TRF parts available.

Here is the current drawing. As you can see it now has support for split blocks. It also uses the Tamiya Floating servo mount. The chassis is also 23mm more narrow than the original TRF415MS chassis. It also is symmetrical, so we can exploit chassis flex. Now it's time to wait for the prototype to come back from the machinists and see how it works :)

  1. Interesting to know someone still working on the classis TRF chassis.

We are come from HK, and we also create new chassis for 416 and 417, with some 3D printing parts.

Maybe we can do some information exchange to make those classic and still really competitive chassis work again.
