New Tamiya TRF Hop ups and option parts announced

Even more new TRF TC parts announced alongside the damper kits and adjusters, to ensure that we are able to upgrade our cars to the new Tamiya TRF release that will be coming soon.

As you can see these upgrades seem to show that the big change will be around how the suspension can be changed in the car with adjustable suspension mounts, and toe-in rear aluminium suspension uprights.

It's great news that Tamiya is supporting us TRF racers with constant development, and I am keen to see all the final info on the latest TRF chassis that will be coming soon.

54879 TRF419 Aluminum Front Direct Cups

Tamiya Direct Cups are used on the TRF419 series of super high-performance race cars. They are part of the Direct Coupling (Spool) that is used in front of the car as part of the 4WD drive line. These option cups are made of aluminum compared to the standard steel versions found in the standard TRF419 kits. They will provide a more linear response and less rotating mass compared to the steel cups.

• Each direct cup achieves a weight savings of 2.8g compared to steel counterparts.
• Swing shaft cap has a tweaked design and is made in new material for improved durability.
• Compatible with TRF419, TB Evo.6 and TB Evo.7 chassis cars.

54921 Reinforced Swing Shaft Caps – Front/Rear (2pcs.ea)

This component (swing shaft blades) is for use with the direct cup parts in Item 54879 TRF419 Aluminum Front Direct Cups. (Also included with the Cup Kit Option parts) It has an updated design and material from previous incarnations for more durability.
