H2 Racing Tamiya TRF420 Mid-motor conversion kit Announced

H2 Racing Development have announced a mid motor conversion kit for the Tamiya TRF420. This chassis design promises to be very interesting. It also uses the kit motor mount allowing the conversion to be very competitively priced compared to other kits for other platforms.

The chassis is made from Japanese T300 Pure carbon sheet.

The layout has the motor in the middle of the chassis, this still gives the pulley a rear bias. This ensures you get the better acceleration response that the shorter rear belt provides whilst still giving you a more easy chassis to drive. The conversion also includes the Japanese MBL belts.

Included in the conversion are:

• Lower deck 2.5mm thick
• Upper deck 2.0mm thick
• Front and rear Jpanese MBL belts

Priced at 368HKD (Excluding shipping), it looks like a good tuning option.

The kit will be available around the middle of Jan 2020.
