Covid's impact on racing has ensured that winter outdoor racing is something that is going to be a chilly reality this year.

- 21/02/21 - Round 5 - Colchester Model Car Club & Series Awards
There is a wide range of classes that can be booked in

- 13.5 Blinky - 20 places
- Modified - 10 places
Additional to these classes the KOC is running the Robbie Racer Rookies Cup!
This exciting new class is for Junior racers, with the soul aim of bringing in more youth into the hobby. The class will involve the following basic rules.
- Chassis - Standard Tamiya Tub chassis, i.e Tamiya TT01/E or a TT02
- Electrics - Tamiya TBLE02-S esc and Tamiya Torque Tuned motor.
- Battery - Any
- Tyres - Any
- Shell - Must be a Tamiya shell.
The goal is to keep it simple with only a few limited hop-ups available. These will ensure that this introductory class will allow racers to concentrate on learning how to race with a very limited amount of tuning settings. This approach will not intimidate these new racers, and will ensure they just concentrate on driving skills and having fun.
More detail to come soon, however this weekend will be the first round where there is already a great number of Juniors ready to hit the track, many for the first time. At the moment the rules based on the King of Clubs Tamiya class, but a more specific rule set is in development for Round 2.
