Tamiya TB EVO8 first details

Tamiya has teased us with a small video revealing the new TB EVO8 shaft driven competition race chassis.

It’s always interesting to see what innovations Tamiya brings with every new EVO chassis so let’s try to take a look at some of the details that can be spotted in the video.

Two piece upper deck

Integrated shock mounts on the bulkhead 

Clear dust covers for the diffs

Sliding and reversible motor mount

Floating servo mount 

New style battery mount with adjustable height

Integrated floating front steering assembly 

Cardan drive shafts 

Floating electrics plate

Centre stiffener with multiple flex positions 

Electrics can be mounted both sides for front or rear motor position.

Rear posts same position as TA08

Rear ARS (Toe control steering)

TA08 Pro arms

SSBB shocks

3 upper mounts
