One of our iconic R/C models, the Lunch Box has been loved for a long time, and its fans have enjoyed their own customization. 47524 Tamiya 50th Anniversary Porsche 934
Tamiya has confounded everyone with this kit.. A unique chassis for this release, a rear motor, 2WD 1/10 race chassis. It's not a metal or carbon chassis, this chassis should celebrate everything that Tamiya stands for, so it is a moulded plastic tub!
Instead of the classic Blue Tamiya anodising you get gold parts to celebrate the 50th anniversary. I really like this approach, this will keep the kit affordable, and hopefully we will even see people racing these as a special Porsche class. I've really disliked how people buy the anniversary cars to horde to sell on in the future.. I hope this will be easily available.. Just imagine a race full of these.. superb!

Motor Position
- Motor is positioned centrally and lengthwise to make the chassis layout similar to that of the actual car. The power is transmitted as follows:

58756 Quirkhopper
Now this is the Tamiya I love to see.. The Madbull was a great basher and it has been discontinued for some time. This looks like the Buggy to take its place. It's on the GF-02 like the criminly underrated Squash Van. The massive wheels and a rugged and simple chassis design. This is classic Tamiya.. and a great thing to see.Official Blurb
After the release of Item 58725 1/10 R/C Squash Van (GF-02) in 2023, we welcome the second new model paired with the gear-driven 4WD GF-02 chassis. While the Squash Van is a retro, actual-car-like model inspired by 1950s American panel vans, this Quirkhopper's concept is a slim, insect-like buggy body. The word "quirk" means something strange, unique and unexpected. Enjoy off-road performance and customisation of this kit as you like!

About the GF-02 chassis
The gear-driven 4WD GF-02 chassis features its motor in a low, central position in the lightweight, durable monocoque frame, and transmits power to front and rear via gears. The long wheelbase and wide tread setup ensures stable off-road performance. The slim frame features ladder/pipe motifs and features integrated sealed gearboxes which help keep stones out. Front and rear gear differentials allow smooth cornering, while separately sold pinion gears offer a choice from three types of gear ratios, and a motor guard enhances reliability off-road. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension employs four friction dampers, and the steering servo is positioned on the left with identical-length tie-rods.
