Tamiya has today launched a new Facebook page for their TRF racing team.
Obviously the timing of this launch is significant with the Nuremberg Toy Fair less than a week away. This coupled with the confirmation only recently that they were racing new parts on the TRF421 at the TITC, and this year sees another IFMAR 1/10 world championship implies we may be seeing an update of the excellent TRF421 soon.
More importantly, I personally hope it means Tamiya will invest in promoting this brand, expand it with more Factory drivers and support us drivers who are fans of the Tamiya brand. It has long been rumoured that Tamiya is intending to build up it's TRF offering again. The TRF421 was a huge jump, providing us Tamiya Racers with a car that compete at all levels.
Here is the informaion from their first facebook post.
