The Mardave Cobra is a classic buggy, and still good fun to drive around. Here is a quick and simple mod to update the front suspension layout to make the car more planted and responsive on turning.

The conversion took no time.

You need to fit the upgrights the opposite way so the turnbuckles are at the back. (just build it in reverse nothing else needed)
To fit on each side you need to fit a 28x3mm threaded screw through the exisiting holes. Then you need a spacer for the shocks (I made a 6MM spacer for the shocks). and then drill a 3mm hole in them.

Screw it through to the front

Simply fit the screw through the holes (I drilled the existing holes as they are for a self tapper, just for ease) then slide on the 6mm spacer the shocks and then just fit on the 3mm bolt at the end.

Here is the end result :)
