Tamiya 42245 Aluminium body adjuster mount quick review

These arrived the other day. A simple little innovation from Tamiya.
These mounts are threaded so you can make small adjustments to your cars body height when at the track.
Each pack contains 2 mounts, they quickly fit together as seen in the instructions below.



To tune the height you just twist the cap on the main threaded part.

Once fitted the final result is that of a nice little tuning aid.

You can adjust height precisely if your body is just rubbing. You can also raise the front/ rear posts to play a little with the rate of downforce a shell gives (I.e raise the rear a few twists to put more rear drag on the car.
