As our TC's get skinnier adding weights has become part of the building and tuning process. My TRF419 was 50g under the BRCA limit (1350g) once fully assembled and with everything installed.

Obviously the first thing you want to do is balance the chassis as you add the extra weight and then once the car is balanced add any remaining weight along the middle of the car.

When doing this There are a few options on the market but the 3Racing balance weights (Part no 3Rac-BW04) have that little extra bling.

What's in the packet?
The packet contains two strips of weights in 5 and 10 gram sizes. They are backed with 3m tape. As you can see they have a vinyl covering in a carbon weave pattern.

The weights are all pre-cut so you just need to cut them with scissors or a blade as you position them on the chassis.

Above you can see part of the chassis before the weight is installed
And here it is with the weight installed. The carbon pattern is well reproduced and matches the real material well.

Overall
Obviously these weights are not essential, but for those of us with a slight Obsession with having a clean tidy race chassis they help keep things in order :)
