It's that time of year again where manufacturers tempt us to get the latest version of our racing chassis.

Xray has announced their new T4 2016 specification car. Obviously it's got a very strong heritage and they have had a really successful 2015 winning a lot of championships.  The top line is that the new car has better traction and steering characteristics. So what are the key parts that they have improved over their previous contender?

The new car has a few new features.
  • Flex positions in the motor mount
  • 2.2mm chassis for more wobble and mechanical grip
  • Redesigned rear suspension blocks for ARS
  • Redesigned top deck for easier pinion access
  • New ESCS drive shafts (the originals were not very reliable compared to other makes)
The car now comes with the ECS joints in the box, and as you would expect so has the RRP to support the extra cost.

Whether this is enough to make you want to upgrade from the 2015 car is down to you. The car is available now from all good stockists.
