Tamiya Nuremberg Toy Fair 2024 exclusive photos and information

It's great to have the hobby fair back, and Tamiya has not disappointed us with a very interesting array of new cars.. 

42384 TRF421 Chassis Kit.  For me the obvious big hitter is the new Tamiya TRF race chassis. Nothing carried across from the old car, a totally new update to ensure TRF racers can compete anywhere :)  I have covered this in more detail here with detailed photos and close-ups in this separate article.. 

But let's take a look at some of the other more interesting releases. 

58729 Opel Kadett GT/E (MB-01 chassis). The MB01 is a versatile little chassis (Yes I know I haven't posted my review yet). With it's clever adaptability to move between front and rear wheel drive it has energised Tamiya into releasing some nice new M-Chassis sized shells. The Opel Kadett here looks superb.

58734 Citroen DS (MB-01 chassis). Another release on the MB-01 is this super stylish Citroen DS.

58738 XM-01 Pro Chassis Kit.. Imagine a M-Chassis sized XV-02 and you will have the XM-01 Pro.

The XM-01 might spell the end of the MF-01X chassis, as this will be a much more rally capable design for the MK2 escort. The 4wd chassis will have all of the top options of the XV-02 including a slipper Nice :)

58739 1998 Honda NSX Racing (TT-02 chassis).. Not much to say other than look at the shell :) Going to be good for Tamiya stock class racing.

56375 Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4X2... One of these days I will get a truck. The FH16 looks superb here.. I wonder if people race these? ;)

47432 Super Clod Buster Black Edition, along with the Manta-Ray the Super Clod buster is rereleased again.. It looks really good in black..
