Red RC has supplied some great photo's of Souta Goto's Tamiya TRF421.
It's great to have a look at some of the development parts on the car, and it will be interesting to see how the car performs at the event. Unlike most other manufacturers Tamiya has done no preparation for the event at this track, so they are coming into it quite blind. Although progress has been promising on the practice day as Takayuki Kono (TRF main man and mechanic) and Souta work together to find a working set-up.
The main differences that can be seen are:
- New Tamiya flexible lower deck (Aluminium or maybe Steel)
- Steel Battery holders (Probably to help because of the low weight lipo)
- Front knuckle arm with the screw attachment between the two settings on the kit arms
- Thin braces on the inner front and rear bulkheads (I have always used these indoors for my 420 and 420X)
- White Blades instead of the kit black ones (Probably Delrin)
Do you spot anything else? Take a look at the photos here.
Thanks to RedRc for the photos. Good luck Team TRF!!
