Had an hour to kill until the first final.
Got a bit paranoid that my tyres were going to die as they were pretty old. So I bought a new set and decided to wear them in over the free practice.
Disaster! Smashed into a barrier and broke my steering knuckle noooooo!!!! I rushed back to the pits and feverishly replaced it. I managed it with 2 minutes to spare! Lined up on the grid and prepared to race.
The race went pretty smoothly, I managed to keep in front but was being chased down. I held on and took first with my fastest time of the day.
