Florian participates in the Euro Gt class, in which you can use the TRF cars and the Tamiya Brushless 10.5 motors (Which are plenty fast btw).
As this is Tamiya race series, only Tamiya cars and parts can be used on your cars. The only exceptions are gears, pinions and springs.
So for this event we set the car up with the standard damper mounts, 45wt oil, Yokomo blue springs. The tyres we used were Sorex 32's.
With this Set-up, Florian TQ'd and won the first two finals.

As he already won the race at this event, we decided to mount the low damper mounts (25mm spring version) for the last final. We were keen to see how they would work back to back with the car performing so well. For this final I used the same set-up, except for the X-Gear silver springs.
Unfortunately, I had to use one of his worst batteries (higher internal resistance) as we used the better ones for the race, but we were still keen to see if the car would perform any better.
Florian felt the car had much more corner speed and was easier to drive than with the previous set-up. With his better battery, he would have easily improved his best lap-time. However he improved his overall race time by over a second.
