I got an update from Jesse Keller who raced his TRF419XR equipped with theRCRacer backbone stiffeners to victory in the Dutch Tamiya Cup. Looks like a great days racing :)

Yesterday I competed in the the second race of the Dutch Tamiya Cup series.

I had a good set-up but was keen to see how the car felt with the brace on this high grip carpet track.

The result is that the Tamiya TRF419XR felt much more responsive so I didn't need to be as heavy on the steering resulting in better cornering speed. It was hard to describe other than the car felt much less sloppy if you know what I mean. So I was able to be quick and consistent and qualify in first place for the final.

For the final I managed to finish 1st in the euro-GT class, with my buddy Robert Krens finishing second and Peter Ende finishing third.

It was a well run event and a great day's racing with these guys around, and the final was really close. Also a special thanks to my painter, Patrick Tlr Lievens for the cool shells :)

Here is my Set-up
